Work party on Monday, Oct 28th, 3:00

Hi Brit Neighbours,
There will be lots of leaf-raking and -bagging to do on Monday and it's supposed to be a nice dry weekend, so the leaves won't weigh a ton and be wet enough to tear the leaf bags.
Early announcement!
Plan to come!
Bring a rake if you have one. If you don't, we have spares.
We also have lots of leaf bags.
Cheers,
Penny

Work party today, 3:00, BUT weather permitting...

It looks as if it will be a wet one all day today. If, however, it's dry enough, there are leaves to rake and bag.

If it's still cold and wet at 3:00, fugget about it.

But don't fugget to VOTE!
Cheers,
Penny

Too cold and gloomy for a work party...

Even if it stops raining, everything will be wet and soggy. Let's not have one today.
Anyway, the English-language debate is on at 4:00.

Also, please note there's a GWAC (Grandview Woodland Area Council) meeting tonight and the topic is REACH Clinic and it's new "Urgent Care Centre", opening soon.

If you live in East Vancouver, REACH is your Community Health Centre

REACH is expanding and will soon be opening an Urgent Care Centre, available to anyone, even people who aren't presently REACH patients. Find out all about that and other REACH services and programs.

We'll have a panel from REACH and Vancouver Coastal Health — including Nicole LeMire, the Executive Director; Colleen Fuller, the new president of the community-elected REACH Board; and Andy Day, a representative from Vancouver Coastal Health — to let you know what's happening at REACH and to answer all your questions.

Monday, October 7th at 7pm
