Work Party Monday 3:00 -- as usual!

Howdy,
Just a quick note to let you know there will be a work party in the Napier Greenway tomorrow, starting at 3:00. We sometimes don't last until 5:00, especially now that it's getting dark earlier, but we'll weed and rake and, if anyone brings plants, we'll plant things.
Please come if you can.
See you tomorrow, I hope!
Cheers,
Penny

Work party Monday, 3:00

Hi.
Assuming it's half-decent weather-wise tomorrow, we'll have a work party on Monday, starting at 3:00.
Come if you can. Our primary activity these days is raking up the oak leaves, of which there are many (and they don't break down easily).
Bring rake and gloves if you have them. If not, we have rakes.
Eva was inspired to bring her wheelbarrow last week and she and Christine wheeled some compost from the far end of the highschool parking lot up to the greenway. Maybe more of that tomorrow?
Also, Christine has donated some lily bulbs (Vermeer, pink, as shown). We can find a place to put them in.
Cheers,
Penny

Work party tomorrow, Monday (Thanksgiving), 3:00

Howdy,
If you can make it tomorrow, we'll do some raking and some acorn gathering. We'll start at 3:00 (assuming it's nice weather, but it's supposed to be) and carry on for an hour or two.
Cheers,
Penny

Work party tomorrow, 3:00!

Hi folks,
Come to the Greenway tomorrow, Oct 7th, if you can to rake, prune, weed, etc.
Weather permitting.
If it's raining, we won't go.
Cheers,
Penny

Good work party on Monday ...

It rained, and then it stopped raining for a little while, and then it rained some more. During a lull, we squeezed in a little raking and sweeping. Helen spotted us working on her way to take Claire to her photography class ... and then came back to join us and do some work -- but we had all disappeared! ... So she came over to my place for tea and had a good visit with me and Paul and my sister Pat and brother-in-law Dave who are visiting from Florida.
Dave did a splendid sweeping job in the Greenway!
And Paul and Seonaid did a good imitation of American Gothic (and a lot of raking).
Let's see if it's nice next Monday. If it is, let's meet; there are sure to be lots more oak leaves!!
Cheers,
Penny
