Hi folks,

Britannia Neighbours usually meets on the 3rd Tuesday, but this month it'll be the 4th Tuesday. Hope that doesn't inconvenience anyone. We'll meet at the info centre March 28th at 8:00 p.m.
On the agenda
* The bike racks that were stolen from the Greenway
* The Sweet Cherubim mural panels
* Scheduling clean up and plant-shopping activities (we need to "spend" the gift certificates we won at the Greenways Garden Party!)
* Possible other initiatives (including Salsbury Garden advocacy ... and a children's book-gathering project Pat and I have been scheming about for a while for which we would need to become a non-profit society).
Anything else?

Please come if you can.

Someone has stolen the two handsome bike racks from the Greenway. They had been pretty solidly anchored near the southeast corner and were used a lot, but someone took them (and likely sold them as scrap metal). I've been in touch with Terry Dixon at the Greenways department at City Hall, and she can arrange to have one new rack installed, but it will be the standard City rack, and not a custom-designed one like those we had. Also, the replacement rack won't be installed until August, so we're hoping the "holes" left by the theft will be filled in with pavers for the interim.
Too bad!
