Hi folks,

It seems 100% likely that it will be pouring rain tomorrow at 2:00, so I suggest we cancel tomorrow's work party.

We'll be getting a mountain of soil amender delivered between the 23rd and 27th, so let's save our energy and enthusiasm for dealing with that.

Work Party!!

Hi folks,
It's going to be nice (if chilly) tomorrow afternoon, but let's make it our first work party of the spring season. Maybe it'll bring spring on faster.
It looks like the City crew has been around and has swept the centre pavement really thoroughly. And someone has left an end table between two of the chairs. The City won't be refurbishing the chairs this year. Should we do something to fix them up?

First work party of 2026 -- March 9th (Monday), 2:00

Greetings!

Today was such an amazing day, sunny and warm.

Steve and I ate lunch on our back deck today — first al fresco of 2026!

We usually don’t start up work parties until around March 15 — the ides — but I ran into Catherine today and we thought maybe we could start up next Monday, March 9th.

Let’s plan for that, weather permitting. I’ll send a reminder on Sunday or earlier on Monday when we are better able to predict the weather. 

But perhaps see you Monday at 2:00.
