We've had excellent turnout and have made lots of progress in the past couple of weeks, but it's a great time of year to get control of the weeds. And, as they say, many hands make light work.
Bring your gardening gloves, secateurs, trowel, kneeling pad, etc. We provide the paper bags for garden waste and good cheer.

We will have our second work party of the spring next Monday, April 8th, 3:00 until 5:00 or so...

We had good turnout this past Monday and got an excellent start on cleaning up the garden.

Let's hope for another nice day!

Please come if you can. We have gardening tools, but if you want to use your own gear, bring gloves, trowel, rake, secateurs, etc. I'll bring those paper garden-debris bags.

Also, if you have any plants that you think would be suitable for the Greenway that you don't want in your own garden, bring them along and we'll try to find a good spot for them.

Successful First Spring Work Party

We raked and weeded and talked about the things we'd like to do in the Greenway today.
We'll meet again next Monday, 3:00.
The only problem today was that our storage cupboard door was VERY hard to get open ... and then equally hard to get closed again so we could lock it! We're hoping Jim Caulfield at Brit can arrange to get that fixed!
