Someone has stolen the two handsome bike racks from the Greenway. They had been pretty solidly anchored near the southeast corner and were used a lot, but someone took them (and likely sold them as scrap metal). I've been in touch with Terry Dixon at the Greenways department at City Hall, and she can arrange to have one new rack installed, but it will be the standard City rack, and not a custom-designed one like those we had. Also, the replacement rack won't be installed until August, so we're hoping the "holes" left by the theft will be filled in with pavers for the interim.
Too bad!
