Work Party in the Greenway tomorrow (March 23), 3:00
Hi folks,
We'll have a work party in the Greenway tomorrow, weather permitting.
Someone gave me a large viburnum shrub to plant in the garden around the new book exchange at Salsbury and Napier, but Christine also donated a fire bush to go in there, and the gardeners today agreed that the fire bush is more suitable for the location and they planted it.
Both large shrubs will not fit, so I've got this lovely viburnum to find a home for. I'm thinking it could be the centrepiece of the berm in the southeast corner of the Greenway, if others agree. (It could also be suitable for one of the planters, but we don't have the compost yet, and the planters are not ready to receive plants.)
So… I will bring the viburnum down in my wheelbarrow and we can decide where it should go!
Here it is:
Hope the weather's dandy.
Come if you can. No need to RSVP.
Bring your own tools (gloves, secateurs, kneeling pad, trowel, rake, broom, whatever…) and I'll bring garden-debris bags.
Cheers,
Penny
